For this proposal, sit in the window seat of a train, bus or antique San Franciscan streetcar. As you approach a stop, pick a citizen and stare. Make and do not break eye contact. Hopefully they will notice and respond in kind, if they do not, they still may have noticed, so continue. They may make an interesting face, or they may make an interesting gesture. Continue your stare. However, do not stare at beautiful people, for they are used to inquiring eyes.
